Cancer survivor from Prostate Cancer: Cliff Beckwith
There is more to the Budwig Protocol, but this is the core that has saved many people's lives, even those who were told their cancer was terminal and there was nothing doctor's could do.
After Cliff began to improve his health with the Budwig diet, he made audiotapes about it and gave them freely to anyone who had cancer or had a friend with cancer. In 2001 he also started a Yahoo Health discussion group now called FlaxseedOil2 in order to inform others. That group has files with testimonials from about 60 or more people writing about how they healed from over 18 different types of cancer by using the Budwig Protocol. The following is part of Cliff's story in his own words that I found at http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/men.htm
Prostate Cancer Cured a drugless approach - A Tape Transcription by Clifford Beckwith's testimonial "In January 1991 I was diagnosed with Advanced Prostate Cancer. Bone scans and other tests indicated no spread so it was decided to operate. During the operation it was discovered that the cancer had spread to the Lymph glands making it stage four. The operation was not completed as that would not be the answer.."
[Cliff learned about].."the work of Dr. Johanna Budwig in Germany. She is a Biochemist and blood specialist who has been treating cancer of all kinds with... cottage cheese and Flaxseed Oil for over 16 years. She says that people with cancer have blood that is low in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids and the blood has a greenish cast. Flaxseed oil is 56% Omega 3 and 16% Omega 6. Recently I read that
most people have blood that is 80% deficient in Omega 3. Dr. Budwig has taken patients sometimes given only hours to live and restored them to health."
"Though as of July, 2001 I still have some cancer activity, I am in no danger. A body scan and other tests done in November were all normal. I quit the Lupron and Eulexin in October of 1995. For a man diagnosed with advanced, semi aggressive, prostate cancer to be alive in ten years with all tests normal is not common."

Now, in 2005, Cliff is still healthy and going strong. He is a role model for self-help and healing and he is a generous and kind man whose efforts have undoubtedly saved many lives.
